The Academy of Economics & Finance conference provides a prestigious opportunity for attendees to showcase their latest research, engage with congenial fellow faculty, and learn about the newest trends across the world of economics and finance and teaching pedagogy.

1. Click “Register” and follow the prompts. You must register in order to submit an abstract.
2. If your abstract is accepted for presentation, you will receive an acceptance letter via email.
3. If your abstract is not accepted, you will be notified via email, and eligible for a full refund.s not accepted, 

Topics related to economics, finance, and economics/finance education will be considered for presentation so please consider our venue as an outlet for your research.

We also particularly welcome both graduate and undergraduate students to present their research in a supportive & nurturing learning environment, as part of these respective papers competitions

CONFERENCE FEES (All fees must be paid online using the above registration link)

• Professor registration fee: $175 by Nov 22^nd, or $200 (after Nov. 22^nd)
• Graduate student registration fee: $100
• Undergraduate student registration fee: $60
• J. Anderson Davis Luncheon ticket: $30 per person
• Non-presenting family or friends welcome to attend for a registration fee of $100.

The Registration & Abstract link also allows you to add Conference guests where applicable.

OUR VENUE

This year’s conference will be returning to the majestic DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront at 1201 Riverplace Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida, 32207.  The conference room rate is just $189/night and includes self-parking & complimentary Wi-Fi for meeting and guest accommodation!

 Valet parking is also available for an additional $24/night.

 OUR CONFERENCE DATES:

Conference Sessions will take place from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 12^th, and Friday, February 13^th. The Teacher Training Program will be held on Saturday, February 14^th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

OUR KEY DATES:

August 15^th, 2025: First day for Registration & abstract submissions.

• November 22^nd 2025: Deadline for early bird registration discount
• December 6^th, 2025: Deadline for abstract submissions.
• January 10^th, 2026: Last day to cancel & receive a partial refund.
• January 13^th, 2026: Last day to book a room at the conference rate; from $189/night!

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received on or before January 10th, 2026, to receive a partial refund. If your abstract was accepted for presentation, $60 of your registration fee is non-refundable. Cancellations received after January 10th, 2025, are not eligible for a refund.

Please consider submitting your research to one of our journals :

If you do not intend to submit an abstract or present a paper you can register as an Observer. Observers will not be listed in the program, but may attend the sessions. The registration fee for Observers is $60 before November 15th and rises to $75 after November 15th, 2025.

If you are a graduate student, intending to submit a paper to the Ph.D. Paper Competition, you should register as a Graduate Student. Presenting coauthors also need to register. The Graduate Student registration fee is $100.

If you are an undergraduate student, intending to compete in the Undergraduate Paper Competition, you should register as an Undergraduate Student.  The Undergraduate Student fee is $60.
